Weddings

Congratulations on your engagement!

An exciting and happy time lies ahead and there will be so much to think about.

If you're wondering how to make a start on all the planning and preparations ask our parish administrator for a form for application to have your 'banns' read.

When you meet with the minister you will be asked to fill in important details about your age, nationality, your address, and marital status.  This information will establish your qualifications to legally marry in church.  This has to be done before a date and time can be set.

Once you have the place, date and time of your wedding settled you meet with your minister again to make your service personal to you with readings, music, hymns and perhaps poetry or instrumentalists.
